The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) organized the Study Subcommittee on Securing Broadcasting in Times of Disaster (chaired by Hitoshi Mitomo Dean and Professor, Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies, Waseda University) under the Study Group on Various Issues over Broadcasting (chaired by Kazuteru Tagaya, Professor Emeritus at Chiba University). Since then, the Study Subcommittee has been researching the securing of broadcasting in times of disaster because considerable damage has occurred in various places due to frequent disasters, including heavy rain and typhoons in recent years.

During 6 months of this year, the Commissioner received a total of 6484 appeals from citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, citizens of foreign states and ombudsmen, stateless persons, public organizations and other legal entities. (within 6 months of 2019 6422).
Of these, 460 – at a personal reception, 115 – on-site receptions, 2,557 – by mail and telegraph communication, 929 – by the “Helpline”, 1,455 – through the Ombudsman’s Virtual Reception, and 45 – through the Virtual Reception of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 923 – via the Internet portal www.pm.gov.uz.

We are deeply concerned about the violations of the ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces, which are constantly firing on the positions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the nameless heights of the State in different directions of the front, as well as civilian objects.Disregarding the statements made by the United Nations, World Health Organization and other international organizations concerning pandemic, the Government of Armenia continues its provocations in the light of its policy of occupation and aggression creating even more critical situation in the whole region. Foremost, the violation of ceasefire by the Armenian armed forces even amid pandemic further aggravates the living conditions of civilians in the conflict zone.

On 18 May 2020 the IOI Board of Directors held its annual meeting to identify and discuss projects and priorities for the upcoming membership year. The recommendation of the Ombudsperson on applying concessions in granting mortgage loans to the persons who worked as a teacher in state-owned secondary educational facilities at least for 15 years has been taken into consideration by the government. As such, recently, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree On making amendments to the
“Rule of granting mortgage loans, including preferential mortgages at the expense of the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund”.

The total number of complaint applications received  since the establishment of the Institution is 80.535 and during the  year 2019, 20,968 complaint applications  were received. 21170  decision were issued during the year 2019. in additional to above  107.899 people were interviewed via e-mail, telephone or face to face. 2707 complaints were resolved through amicable settlement during the year 2019. The compliance ratio of recommendation have also been  increased  20% in 2013, 65% in 2017, 70% in 2018 and 75% in 2019.

The Chief Minister Sindh, Syed Murad Ali Shah has appointed Mr. Ajaz Ali Khan as Ombudsman Sindh for a period of four years. The Independent Commission Against Corruption continued to maintain basic external services from February 24 to 28. The declaration of property of civil servants will give priority to those who have expired and expired before March 6. Malaysia    Service users are more comfortable taking care of themselves than using the Application

People as service users are more comfortable managing themselves than using apps or through an online system. It is known from the findings of the RI Ombudsman survey of the Maladministration Perception Index (Inperma) of 2019, that 63.57% – 87.28% of 2,842 respondents in 20 cities / districts said they were more comfortable managing their own services directly in the service room.

PAKISTAN    1.5 Million complaints resolved by the office of Federal Ombudsman since its establishment in 1983

Federal Ombudsman Syed Tahir Shahbaz, during his welcome address at a seminar held in Governor House, Lahore informed the audience that the office of Ombudsman, since its establishment in 1983, had been providing relief to the common citizen of Pakistan and since then it has resolved 1.5 million cases. In recent years more than 70,000 cases were being resolved yearly by filling application against the maladministration of any federal government agency in a very simple way, and to facilitate to complainants further, a mobile-app had been launched through which people could file their complaints from all over Pakistan as well abroad.
