Tatarstan Ombudsman held a reception of convicts serving sentences in correctional institutions via video conferencing

Thirteen convicts turned for advice. They were interested in issues related to transferring to other correctional institutions, issues of granting parole, medical support.

Thanks to this communication format, convicts have the opportunity to personally contact the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan and the leadership of the criminal executive system of Tatarstan, quickly receive clarifications on issues of interest, without waiting for a written response to the appeal or personal reception. In the context of restrictive measures related to the prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection, this format of communication with institutions is very popular.
