Member of the Indonesian Ombudsman Yeka Hendra Fatika held an audience with representatives of the Lakbok District community regarding the PT Pertamina Pipeline Development Project in Lakbok District, Ciamis Regency, Tuesday (12/07/2022) in the Multipurpose Room of the Indonesian Ombudsman.

Previously, in the pipeline construction process, approximately 35 subjects had received compensation payments, while there were approximately 40 rights holders whose compensation had not been paid. In addition, there are also 3 waqf lands that are installed with pipes.

In this meeting, residents submitted several documents to support reports of residents who had not received compensation for the construction of the PT Pertamina pipeline.

At the end of the meeting, Yeka Hendra Fatika said that the Indonesian Ombudsman would continue to oversee this case while still applying the Indonesian Ombudsman’s values, namely Integrity, Professionalism and Fairness.

This meeting was attended by 44 residents from Lakbok Regency who had made reports to the Indonesian Ombudsman regarding land disputes in the construction of pipelines owned by PT Pertamina. (HA)
