This year marks the 30thanniversary of Macao’s integrity building. In September, the CCACspecially organised an activity entitled “30 years of integrity building – an open day at the CCAC’s integrity education base”. Residents were invited to visitthe CCAC’s Branch Office in Taipa, which is Macao’s latest integrity education base. The activity allowed them to have better understanding of the functions and the work of the CCAC from multiple perspectives and have a different experience with the CCAC.
- Publishing teaching materials entitled Nothing about the Planet is Trivial featuring stories on honesty for lower primary students
The CCAC has launched brand-new teaching materials entitled Nothing about the Planet is Trivial featuring stories on honesty for lower primary students for the 2022/2023 school year. Through animated stories, the teaching materials aim to explore common issues about honesty with Primary one to Primary three students, including “not being greedy”, “keeping promises” and “self-discipline”. With content for class activities, key points for discussion and after-school activities as well as board games as teaching aids, the teaching materials serve to help teachers in guiding students to develop positive values in class.
4) Co-organising a parent-child handicraft making activity on the theme of “cultivating honesty” with civic associations
During the summer holidays, the CCAC joined hands with six civic associations to organise an online parent-child handicraft making activity on the theme of “cultivating honesty”, where parents and kids were invited to unleash their creativity and create their 3-D model of William with the Messenger Bear William as the blueprint. Nearly 200 works were received in the activity. Through online integrity promotion activities jointly launched with civic associations, the CCAC hopes that the public will get to know the integrity promotion work more proactively and that the relevant work may still be effectively carried out despite the pandemic.
