MONITOR CIKARANG DISTRICT COURT, RI OMBUDSMAN: OPERATORS MUST APPLY SERVICE STANDARDS
Chairman of the Indonesian Ombudsman in direct monitoring of the services of the Cikarang District Court
The Chairman of the Indonesian Ombudsman, Mokhammad Najih said that service providers must have service standards that can be accessed openly by the public. This was conveyed by Najih in the Public Service Monitoring activity to the Cikarang District Court, West Java, Tuesday (13/9/2022).
“Every public service provider must meet four (4) components of service standards, including input, which is a competent service provider source or actor; process, including accountable service procedures; output, namely service results that can be measured through a Community Satisfaction Survey; and there is good complaint management,” Najih explained.
“This is done, because in providing services, we must help realize the ideals or goals of the State. For example, in the aim of educating the community, we make it happen through the provision of information related to service requirements. This helps to educate people to be smarter and understand the service process,” Najih said. Supporting the Head of the Representative of the Ombudsman RI for Greater Jakarta, Dedi Irsan said that public services must continue to improve in a better direction.
“It’s useless to have the Integrity Zone Predicate, WBK-WBBM but the public services have not changed. There must be changes and innovations,” he said.
“In this case, the innovations created must be useful and also user friendly so that they are friendly to use by all people,” he added. This activity was opened directly by the Head of the Cikarang District Court, Eddy Daulatta Sembiring. In his opening remarks, Eddy expressed his gratitude and hope for the presence of the Indonesian Ombudsman.
“This is an extraordinary opportunity for the Cikarang District Court which can be reviewed directly by the Indonesian Ombudsman. We hope that we can achieve WBK in 2023 based on suggestions and/or input from the Ombudsman,” he concluded.
