POLICE DEPARTMENT CLEAR SERVICE DUES OF THE RETIRED SENIOR SUPERINTENDENT OF POLICE (SSP) ON THE ORDERS OF MR. ASAD ASHRAF MALIK, OMBUDSMAN SINDH.
Mr. Abdul Sattar Detho, a retired Superintendent of Sindh Police approached the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Asad Ashraf Malik with the complaint that he retired from government service more than thirteen years ago but still his G.P. Fund was outstanding against the Department and the department was delaying the matter on flimsy grounds. Consequently he was facing great financial hardship.
2. To redress the grievance of the complainant, Ombudsman Sindh issued directives to the authorities concerned to initiate enquiry in the matter. As a consequence of Ombudsman’s timely intervention the scrutiny process was expedited by the agency and entire outstanding G.P. Fund amounting to Rs. 4,65,142/- was paid to the retired government servant promptly.
3. The complainant appreciated and thanked the Ombudsman, Sindh for prompt action in redressing his grievance.
