I am directed to convey that Honourable Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Mr. Ajaz Ali Khan, has been elected as Director of International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) for the Asian Region. He was elected as Director (Asia) at the election of two Asian Directors for the IOI Board of Directors.

Honourable Ombudsman Sindh has expressed his gratitude to all Asian Members for support and casting vote in his favour. He humbly hopes that he would be able to make his positive contribution in promoting the cause and interest of Asian Region in the Board and to protect human rights and promote good governance. He is committed to serving the under-privileged and marginalized segments of society, in Asian Region and Pakistan.
