INSPECTOR GENERAL KHODAEIYAN CONGRATULATES JOURNALISTS ON THEIR SPECIAL DAY.

The head of the General Inspection Organization of Iran (GIO), Dr. Khodaeiyan, extended his heartfelt congratulations to journalists and media professionals on the occasion of Journalist Day (7 August), recognized in Iran each year.

In his message, Dr. Khodaeiyan described this day as a valuable opportunity to honor the lofty position of distinguished individuals who wield the pen with honesty, commitment, and responsibility in the name of enlightenment, raising public awareness, and defending the truth. He emphasized that this is an especially fitting moment to pay tribute to the tireless efforts of journalists—particularly those active in legal and judicial reporting—who alongside the judiciary and the GIO are advancing transparency, combating corruption, and safeguarding public rights in a responsible manner. He further highlighted that the professional and devoted role of journalists in articulating achievements, elevating public awareness, and strengthening social capital plays a pivotal role in realizing the goals of the national oversight system.

Dr. Khodaeiyan also commemorated the memory of Martyr Mahmoud Saremi and all media martyrs—especially those fallen in the recent imposed war—and expressed particular admiration for journalists who courageously and steadfastly amplified the voices of the Iranian nation and oppressed communities worldwide during recent attacks by the Zionist occupier regime. He conveyed deep appreciation for the Sacred efforts of these committed journalists and wished all those striving in the realm of knowledge continued success, well-being, and increasing honor.

Dr. Khodaeiyan,

President
