South Ural Ombudsman and the Commissioner in Tatarstan signed a
cooperation agreement
The Commissioner for Human Rights of Chelyabinsk region Margarita Pavlova and the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya agreed on cooperation.
During the visit of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan Sariya Saburskaya in the Chelyabinsk region signed an agreement between the Commissioners of the regions of the Russian Federation – Chelyabinsk region and the Republic of Tatarstan.
The agreement is aimed at organizing interaction between the Commissioners in order to respect and protect human and civil rights on the territory of both entities. The document provides joint participation in the monitoring of human rights.
Reception and consultation of foreign citizens held in the Reception center for foreigners at Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan in Naberezhnye Chelny
On December 22, 2018, the employee of the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Republic of Tatarstan Halimova A. R. and the public assistant to the Commissioner, the head of the RT “Legal Clinic” Balafendieva G. G. held a consultation for foreign citizens held in the Reception center for foreigners Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan in Naberezhnye Chelny.
During the reception 6 foreign citizens were consulted. Part of appeals is taken under control.
During the visit to the Reception center, there was held a working meeting with the head of the center on current issues concerning ensuring the rights of foreign citizens and stateless persons.
Also in pursuance of 2nd paragraph of the meeting minutes of the Expert Council under the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Tatarstan in order to protect the rights of foreign citizens and stateless persons living on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Autonomous charitable non-profit organization “New century” organized a visit of the mobile group “New century” with a team of doctors.
